Breakfast should give your body 25-30% of the daily calories. So it should definitely be varied and complet. Differences lay on your eating habits and tastes. all will depend on your next meals and how you are going to spend energy during the day, especially untill your next meal. So vary as much as possible in your breakfast, but bear in mind the following:
*Milk and derivatives: provide high bilogical value proteins, minerals (calcium and others) and vitamins.
* Cereals and derivatives: bread, breakfast cereals, porridge oats, etc.. are mandatory at any table because they are suppliers of complex sugars, which allow the continuous supply of energy, according to our needs throughout the morning. Maintaining a stable level of blood sugar controls your appetite.
* Fruits: 50-200g of fresh fruit, mainly citrus fruits (oranges, tangerines, etc..) soft fruit (blackberries, blueberries), kiwi, pineapples are rich in vitamin C, beta carotene and fiber.

About breakfast
How many of you have heard about the health benefits of having a good breakfast but still skip it or have an unhealthy and poor one each morning because you didn’t have time?
Since ALWAYS physicians and nutrition specialist talk about the importance of the first meal of the day. After a good night of sleep and an empty stomach in the morning it makes sense that we need to eat good to revitalize and energize our body. Having a varied and diversified breakfast guarantees you its nutritional equilibrium. People say that we need the essential nutrients like fibers, proteins and carbohydrates of good quality and low caloric content and all the essential minerals for a good body functioning. If we consume the right nutrients, we won’t feel hungry so soon :D This is good! I definitely should start looking for this right proportion !
Everybody says eat dairy products, fruits and bread/cereals. When I was younger I felt like eating cereals and all that (especially because they gave us free toys or something fun to children) but now I feel and see that most of the cereals in the supermarket are high in sugar and have little nutritional value. When eaten these high amounts of sugar are released almost immediately into our bloodstream and provide us with an instant energy boost. But we shouldn’t forget the downside of this effect: the energy boost is short-lived and soon we’ll need another quick sugar fix!!
